GUFRAMINI X HOMMEMADE SHROOM CACTUS®

The Shroom CACTUS® created in collaboration with A$AP Rocky has joined the guframini world!

During Design Miami/ 2022, which took place last December, Gufram debuted the Shroom CACTUS®, a new edition of the brand’s iconic CACTUS®. The new iteration has been designed by A$AP Rocky, together with his design studio HOMMEMADE.

This Spring, the Shroom CACTUS® will be transformed into the Guframini, a miniaturized limited edition of 99 launching exclusively on 1stDibs, the leading online marketplace for extraordinary design.

A$AP Rocky’s Shroom CACTUS®, a modern reinterpretation of Gufram’s historical piece by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello from 1972, is made of polyurethane foam which is injected into a unique piece identical to that one of the original version: same softness, same colours and same details.
As with the real-size Shroom CACTUS® showcased in Miami, the new Guframini features multiple hand painted mini mushrooms growing on its trunk and at its feet challenging reality.

Each miniature Shroom CACTUS® is finished by hand, resulting in a collection of limited-edition unique pieces, an icon of Radical Contemporary Design in 1:8 scale.
