WE DON’T NEED NO DESIGN CONTROL

10 Corso Como
Milano, 04 / 2015

Two installations where the protagonist will be the public, called to interact with the history of design in the most eclectic concept-store in Milan.

An ironic Cactus forest will invite visitors to hide and get lost in order to rediscover the playful soul in each of us; the same soul that we'll find again in the second installation, where we'll be able to destroy and rebuild Babylonia (1973), designed by the crazy and visionary Studio 65.

Line-up: BABYLONIA, CACTUS

The title underscores the wish to rebel like in the song Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd; Gufram invites us to abandon the fetishism of objects – the middle-class constraint towards the obsessive cult of design pieces – and to transform it all into a romantic play of pure poetry.
