MIDDLE CLASS POP | LA STORIA DI GIACOMINO

Wallpaper Arcade
Milano, 04 / 2015

Pop identity and artisanal work mix in the spaces of the lounge Gufram, hosted in the design complex realized this year by Wallpaper* between via San Gregorio and via Casati.

“MIDDLE CLASS POP” is, on the other hand, the installation in which the re-releases of the first products in the history of the Gufram brand will be presented: Alvar, made in 1967, and Mozza in 1968, designed by Giuseppe Raimondi and presented this year with Kvadrat upholstery.

Line-up: ALVAR, MOZZA

They were at the time two revolutionary products that broke the old patterns of the middle-class seat, by transforming into irreverent objects two common types of the daily domestic landscape, like the armchair and the recliner. The new and refined colour and fabric palette gives these two historical icons a solid and precious allure.
