"Beauty in Motion - Italian Design Icons"

@ Casa Fiat de Cultura - Belo Horizonte (Brazil)

from 13/09 to 3/11 2019

In the exhibition are showcased some of the most iconic Gufram’s domestic sculpture: close to a shining Ferrari the visitor can find Bocca®, the original 1970 lips-shaped couch, only by Gufram's, designed in 1970 by Studio 65 and today available also in 25 new colours and in an unprecedented, more material and structured fabric.

Speaking of icons, could not miss Cactus®, designed in 1972 by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello: this hall tree with four cantilevered arms in polyurethane is about as tall as a person and looks like an ironic totem that embodies the grit, imagination and humor of the design of the Seventies. Just close, Sassi (Stones), designed by Piero Gilardi for Gufram in 1968, become bucolic seats or decorative elements. Sassi is one of the symbols of Gufram's naturalistic inspirations and of the "true-fake" concept, which can be found in many of its products.

Pratone designed for Gufram by Ceretti, Derossi & Rosso in 1971 is the symbol of creative freedom of expression, unique and unconventional Chaise longue that has as yet found no ersatz.
